Candidates with the following experience are highly desirable: 

  • Relationship-Based Software Sales, which may include: Point of Sale, Labor scheduling, Inventory, Ordering systems or Payroll services  
  • Corporate Restaurant Management Background 

 

Only applicants with the following essential skills and experience will be considered:  

  • 3+ Years of experience meeting/exceeding sales quotas 
  • Food Service Sales, which may include: Sysco, US Foodservice, BiRite, Gordon, Shamrock, or FSA 
  • Applicant must understand; market sector targeting, product offer development and features-benefits-solutions selling 
  • Must be adept in use of Excel, Word, Internet research and email. Will preferably have experience with WebEx and CRM tools 
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc. 
  • Competent in writing business letters, quotations and proposals 
  • Must have excellent communication skills including face-to-face and telephone 
  • Must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance and business profit 
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance  
  • Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with restaurant owners and operators 
  • Professional demeanor and appearance 
  • Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month within the US
  • Keen for new experiences, responsibility, and accountability 

 

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus residual commissions: this creates an unlimited earning potential. Expense reimbursement is provided as well.
