Once you have engaged with the RASI purchasing department through your support team, they will determine that you are not already part of a GBO to ensure that you’re eligible to participate in our programs. From there, we will verify if your broadline distributor has the ability to send us your purchasing data electronically with manufacturer information (which is often excluded on invoices). This data allows RASI to flag any purchases which qualify for quarterly issued rebates in the form of service fee credits.
The RASI purchasing and restaurant manufacturer rebate program essentially functions the same as a GBO, however we remove the middleman in the process which means more money for our restaurants! Unlike typical GBO’s we do not take any of our client’s rebate money for ourselves and pass 100% of the earned rebates back to our clients in the form of reduced RASI service fees.
Yes! Our restaurant purchasing services are provided at no extra cost to our clients who utilize our restaurant accounting and payroll services.
The amount of money that a restaurant can expect to save through our purchasing services averages around 13% savings on service fees per quarter. Keep in mind that exact savings vary from operation to operation due to the fact that rebates are based off of individual purchases. The more items that are purchased through the rebate program, the larger the rebate for the restaurant.
